SUPERIOR MAKES STRATEGIC CHANGES IN KEY MANAGEMENT ROLES

SEMINOLE, Florida – May 3, 2010 – Superior Uniform Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SGC), manufacturer of uniforms, image apparel and accessories, today announced that it has bolstered its senior management team with the announcement that Lisa Stewart has joined Superior as Vice President of Design and Merchandising.

Lisa comes to Superior from HMX Group (formerly Hartmarx) where she held the position of Director of Sourcing for the Hickey Freeman, Bobby Jones, Hart Schaffner & Marx, and Jack Nicklaus brands. She also has held the position of Senior Vice President of Design and Sourcing for International Women’s Apparel a division of Hartmarx. In that role, Lisa was responsible for design, merchandising, and sourcing for the Austin Reed, eye, H&W, Aura, Semplice, and Andrea Jovine brands.

“Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience related to design, merchandising  and sourcing of apparel. Her 19 years in the retail apparel business will add further expertise to our management team. We are excited about her new role” said Michael Benstock, CEO.

With the addition of Stewart, Janice Henry will assume the position of Vice President of Marketing.  Janice, a 25 year veteran of Superior Uniform Group, previously held the title of Vice President of Design.

Ron Klepner, formerly Vice President of Marketing, will now assume the newly created position of Vice President Business Development Support. Ron is an industry veteran and has held several executive positions with Superior during the past 9 years.
